What is coaching?
Coaching is the collaborative partnership between client and coach whereby individuals focus on the skills and actions needed to successfully produce their desired goals. Life coaching is about indentifying and clarifying goals while removing obstructions. All with an emphasis on action, accountability and follow through. By concentrating on balancing all the areas of one's life, one can more fully recognize their natural strengths and produce amazing, life changing results.

How does coaching differ from counseling?
Professional coaching is a distinctly different service from counseling. Coaching focuses on an individual's life as it relates to goal setting, outcome creation and personal change. Coaching is forward moving and future focused while counseling focuses on healing pain, dysfunction and conflict within the individual's past. Coaching is solution focused while counseling is problem focused.
How are coaching sessions offered?
Coaching typically begins with a personal, one on one consultation. This initial 50 minute assessment begins the collaborative process of defining the scope of the relationship, identifying the priorities for action and establishing specific outcomes. All subsequent sessions are either 25 or 50 minutes in length and are typically provided via the telephone.
